Sources said that the Karur Town police have registered a case of violation against the Viduthalai Singangal for unauthorised display of flex boards during their rally in the town on Tuesday.

Likewise Aravakurichi, Chintamanipatti and Palaviduthi police have registered two cases each in their limits in this connection.

The stations have registered a case each against the DMK and the AIADMK for poll code violations in their areas.
